San Diego Impressions

Very briefly, my initial impressions of San Diego (carefully construed in a totally unbiased and fairly sampled manner, from an entire 45 minutes of walking around in the Gaslamp District): it's quite sunny, there are too few people for the number of businesses that seemlingly need to be supported, and there's an odd, and somewhat offputting, smell in the air.
